Notice of Public Comment Period
FY 2024-27 Transportation Improvement Program
Tri-County Regional Planning Commission’s (TCRPC), the Peoria-Pekin Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), copy of the draft FY 2024-27 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is available for public review and comment. The TIP is a multi-year listing of federally funded highway, bicycle, pedestrian, and transit projects in the Peoria-Pekin urbanized area scheduled for construction between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2027.
The public comment period is from Wednesday, August 16, 2023, through Wednesday, September 20, 2023. All public comments should be directed to TCRPC through one of the below options.

Comments received during the public comment period are recorded and provided to the Full Commission for their consideration prior to the adoption of the FY 2024–27 TIP. The Full Commission will be considering an Action Item to approve the FY 2024-27 TIP at their regular scheduled October 4, 2023, meeting. Agenda and meeting materials are available 48 hours in advance on TCRPC’s Meeting Materials webpage.
The public comment period provides an opportunity for the community to review the proposed use of federal transportation grant funds over the next four years. TCRPC will hold three public meetings on the draft FY 2024-27 TIP with both in-person and remote attendance available.

Public Review Sites
In addition to the three public meetings and the TCRPC’s website, the draft FT 2024-27 TIP is available for review at Tri-County’s office and 20 public review sites at local libraries throughout the MPO planning area.
