MPO Technical Committee

The Technical Committee is the MPO technical advisory body. The committee provides transportation expertise to the MPO continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive planning process. The Technical Committee meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 9:00 am, unless otherwise posted.

About MPO Technical

The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission is recognized as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Peoria-Pekin Urbanized Area. The Full Commission, the TCRPC full board, services as the MPO Policy Committee. The Technical Committee is the MPO technical advisory body and is made up of transportation professionals from member jurisdictions who prepare, review, and recommend actions to the Full Commission for approval. Technical meets the third Wednesday of every month at 9:00am at the offices of TCRPC. Additionally, the Technical Committee may establish subcommittees to assist in the operation and program planning activities, such as project review subcommittees.
