A comprehensive plan assesses transportation, environmental, economic, and social conditions to develop a blueprint for community improvement through public outreach. The planning process involves working with the entire community to develop a shared vision with goals, objectives, and implementation strategies. The community vision includes a future land use map that helps ensure that development occurs in an efficient pattern that follows the community vision.
