Annual Listing of Federally-Authorized Transportation Projects

The Annual Listing of Federally-Authorized Transportation Projects is a listing all federally funded transportation projects in the MPO’s urbanized area that were obtained during the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018, from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018. The word obligated refers to the Federal government’s financial commitment to pay or reimburse the lead agency for the federal share of a project’s cost. Obligation in no way refers to the expenditure or project completion; but only that the specific project has been marked and approved for federal reimbursement. This report’s second purpose is to provide increased transparency of government spending on transportation projects and strategies to state and local officials, and to the public. This document is familiarly described as the “POP” for “Previously Obligated Projects.”
