The Tri-County Regional Greenways and Trails Task Force is a local group comprised of representatives from many areas, including:

• park districts
• municipal officials and planners
• hiking, biking and canoeing clubs
• IL Department of Natural Resources and IL Department of Transportation
• other interested individuals

The Task Force is a leader in greenways and trails planning and implementation in the region.  Task Force members discuss the status of trails in the area, statewide funding and opportunities and legislation that affects greenways and trails. 

The Task Force meets quarterly, usually on the third Tuesday of the month at the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission Conference Room - Downtown Peoria.  Meetings start at 2:00 PM and are open to the public.
