IDOT has released the 2009 Construction Project Schedule with 30 projects in the Peoria/Pekin Urbanized Area. Click the months below for maps displaying the locations of the construction throughout the region.  Dates are tentative, and projects may be delayed.

As you can see, this construction will drastically increase congestion; therefore, alternative modes of transportation will be much more appealing to people commuting throughout the metropolitan area.
